Connect Shopify or WooCommerce

Connect your store and begin importing ecommerce, product and customer data.

Updated 9 August 2026

What the store connection provides

A Shopify or WooCommerce connection brings orders, products and customer context into Incendium and creates much of the ecommerce measurement foundation automatically. This gives ecommerce teams useful reporting sooner while keeping the same Locations, conversions and channel model available for review and extension.

The store connection is deliberately broader than a browser pixel: imported commerce records can establish historical context, while live website tracking explains the visits and journeys that produced future orders.

Connect the store

Select the correct project

Use the project created for the store and confirm its primary domain before installing anything.

Open the ecommerce app

Go to Settings → Connections → Integrations. Choose the Shopify or WooCommerce app and follow the connection instructions shown for that platform.

Authorise the requested access

Complete the store-side approval using an administrator account. Keep the store domain and credentials exactly as issued by the platform.

Allow the initial import to complete

Large order histories can take time. Use the connection status and Store Intelligence reports to distinguish a running import from missing data.

Review the automatic structure

Check Locations, Location Tags, traffic and conversions. Automation provides a strong starting point, but custom themes, checkout flows and additional domains may need adjustments.

Validate the first day

  • Recent store orders and revenue appear for the expected date range.
  • Products and customers are present where the connection supports them.
  • A new website visit appears after live tracking is active.
  • A controlled order appears once and has the expected value.
  • Imported history is not being mistaken for tracked visit history.
Early ratios need context

Historical orders can arrive before Incendium has accumulated matching website visits. Revenue and order reporting may be useful immediately, while visit-based conversion rates become representative as live tracking builds.
