Themes
Control the shared visual foundation used by landing-page assets.
Updated 9 August 2026Set the shared visual foundation
Open Optimize > Landing Pages > Themes to define the project-wide defaults used by the Lightning Landing Pages system. Themes keep core brand decisions consistent while individual Blocks, Templates and Pages concentrate on content and structure.
A Theme is shared infrastructure, not a one-page styling panel. Review live and draft assets after a material change so a global improvement does not create an unexpected local regression.
Configure the Theme settings
The principal brand or action colour available to landing-page assets.
A supporting colour for contrast, emphasis and secondary interface treatments.
The default colour used for readable page content.
The CSS font-family stack used by the landing-page system.
The default size for each heading level.
The default size for paragraphs and general text.
The maximum width used by Section containers, helping wide screens retain a readable content measure.
Use valid CSS values
Colour fields accept CSS colour values such as hex codes. Font size and container fields need a unit such as px, rem or another supported CSS unit. The Font Family field can contain a fallback stack such as Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif.
- Keep text and background colours at an accessible contrast.
- Use a heading scale with a visible but controlled hierarchy.
- Choose a container width that supports desktop layouts without making paragraphs difficult to read.
- Use fonts that are actually available to the published page; always provide a sensible fallback.
Save and review the change
Choose Save after updating the Theme. Preview representative Templates and Pages at desktop, tablet and mobile sizes. Pay particular attention to headings that wrap differently, buttons whose contrast changed and Sections that depend on the container width.
Keeping these decisions in the Theme reduces repeated page-level styling and produces faster, more consistent campaign releases.
