Report Library
Understand the standard report categories and choose a starting point.
Updated 9 August 2026Choose a standard report by question
The Analyze navigation is Incendium's report library. It groups pre-built reports by the type of decision they support, so teams can begin with a governed view instead of recreating routine analysis.
Open the closest report, set the date and comparison, then narrow it with the available dimensions and filters. Use an Explorer when the question is open-ended, and build a custom chart only when the required view is not already covered.

Standard report, Explorer or custom dashboard?
- Use a standard report for a common business question whose metrics and structure are already provided.
- Use an Explorer when you know the metric or dimension but need to investigate where the pattern comes from.
- Use a custom dashboard when a team needs a recurring combination of evidence from several charts.
- Use Chart Builder when one reusable visual needs a definition that is not already available.
The useful starting point is the decision being made. Incendium's report groups preserve richer first-party measurement and shared definitions; selecting the smallest view that answers the question keeps that advantage understandable.
