Publish a landing page
Prepare, validate and publish an Incendium landing page.
Updated 9 August 2026Prepare a stable public destination
Open the Page editor and its General Settings control. A Page cannot be activated until it has a valid Landing Path and managed Subdomain. If the required Subdomain does not exist, follow the link to Subdomain Management first.
Complete General Settings
Enter the part after the domain without the initial slash. Use a short, durable path that describes the campaign or offer.
Select the live managed Subdomain where people will access the Page. Incendium displays the complete resulting URL.
Record the Page's internal purpose so another editor can understand its objective.
Choose Save Settings before configuring Smart Links. The Page and public destination must exist before advertising entities can point to it.
Choose the advanced search and loading settings
- Add no-index prevents search engines from indexing the Page. Use it for paid-only, temporary or duplicate experiences that should not appear in organic search.
- Canonical identifies the preferred URL when substantially similar content is available elsewhere.
- Defer Incendium.js starts downloading the script immediately but delays its execution until after page rendering, which can improve loading efficiency.
After changing script loading, test the first Pageview, early clicks, forms and Conversions. Performance improvements are useful only when the required measurement still starts at the intended point.
Preview and activate
Save the Page
Store the latest editor changes and General Settings.
Preview the destination
Review desktop, tablet and mobile layouts, links, forms, consent behaviour and conversion actions.
Activate
Choose Activate when the Page is eligible and approved. The management card changes from Draft / Inactive to Live.
Open the public URL
Verify the exact Subdomain and path outside the editor before sending traffic.
Link Ads with Smart Links
Expand Smart Links to choose Meta Ads, Ad Sets or Campaigns that should use the Landing Page as their destination, then choose Save Smart Links. The Page should be active first; otherwise linked advertising can point to a dead end.
Lower-level settings override broader ones: an Ad-level destination takes priority over the Ad Set or Campaign destination containing it. Use the broadest level that accurately represents the intended routing, then add exceptions only where needed.
Create or confirm the Landing Page Location
Expand Location Setup to see Locations that already match the Page. If no suitable Location exists, enter a name under Create new location and choose Create Location. Incendium generates rules designed specifically for that Lander.
The Location connects the published Page to reporting, interactions, Conversions and attribution. Continue in Locations if the generated grouping or its analytics visibility needs to be reviewed.
Monitor after launch
Use the Page card's Analytics action or Landing Page Insights to confirm Sessions, Pageviews and downstream behaviour. If an Ad uses a Smart Link, verify that the live click reaches the intended URL and retains the expected campaign information.
