Personalization Results

Measure how personalized experiences affect meaningful outcomes.

Updated 9 August 2026

Select the delivered experience

Open Optimize → Personalization → Results, choose the date range, then select a Campaign Personalisation from the dropdown or table. The selection table compares available experiences using Sessions, Pageviews, Average Time on Page, Pageview Interactions, EBA Conversion Count and Conversion Rate - EBA.

Interpret the result in context

  • Sessions and Pageviews establish exposure.
  • Average Time on Page indicates how long visitors remained on the relevant page.
  • Pageview Interactions shows meaningful configured actions, not every click.
  • EBA Conversion Count and Conversion Rate - EBA connect the experience with attributed outcomes using the project's EBA configuration.

Use the Campaign dates and targeting definition when explaining the population. A targeted experience should not be compared casually with an unrelated site-wide average.

Check delivery before judging content

Little or no exposure

Check active state, dates, probability, lead limit, Audience or Trait eligibility, Location and CSS Selector.

Pageviews but no Interactions

Confirm the intended Interaction is configured and that the Component's action works on the matching templates.

Engagement improves but outcomes do not

The experience may be more noticeable without making the next step more persuasive or easier.

One segment responds strongly

Retain the result as evidence for that population instead of generalising it to every visitor.

Decide what to retain

Keep an experience active only while its targeting remains useful and its result supports the business objective. Record why it was retained, changed or stopped. If the team needs a controlled variant-versus-control comparison, rebuild the hypothesis as an A/B Campaign rather than treating Personalization reporting as the same question.
