Blocks
Create reusable page sections.
Updated 9 August 2026Create reusable page sections
Open Optimize > Landing Pages > Blocks to manage reusable page sections. A Block does not have to be made from Components: it can be built directly from headings, text, images, grids, forms and other builder elements. Components are optional where an existing reusable element is useful.
Typical Blocks include a hero, proof section, product explanation, comparison, form or call to action. Keep the boundary meaningful so the section can be moved or reused without depending on unrelated page content.
Create and manage Blocks
Choose New Lightning Block, enter a clear Block name and optionally enable Generate with AI. The Blocks list records the Block name, description and AI processing status, with actions to Preview, Edit and Delete.
Names should describe the section's job—for example Product Proof with Reviews—rather than its position on one page. Add enough description for another editor to know when the Block is appropriate.
Build the section in the shared editor
Blocks use the same visual workspace as Templates and Pages. See The WYSIWYG Builder for the complete guide to Elements, Grids, Forms, the document tree, Styles, Settings, Code, responsive views, media, reusable resources and AI tools.
For a Block, keep the section self-contained and avoid page-specific paths or assumptions unless that is the Block's explicit purpose.
